Put your own song on Violet's slide

Sliding on the trail from Violet's Flow State (her 2) plays your song from the top. Short hops off the trail don't stop it, and if you come back within ten seconds it picks up where it left off. The volume has its own slider in Settings, under Audio.

2Pick the part that plays

Drag the two handles to set where the song starts and stops, or drag the middle to move the whole part. Sliding always starts at the left handle. Use the zoomed strip to land the start on an exact beat or word.

3Build the mod

When you leave the trail

Hop-off buffer 0.25 s

How long you can be off the trail before the song stops. Longer lets you hop gaps; shorter stops it sooner.

Fade out 0.30 s

How quickly the song fades once the buffer runs out. 0 cuts it off.

4Install it

Unzip the file you saved. Inside is one .vpk file.
Add that file in your mod manager, or copy it to Deadlock\game\citadel\addons and rename it to a free slot such as pak20_dir.vpk.
Start Deadlock, pick Violet and slide on your Flow State trail.
Change the volume in Settings › Audio › Slide song (Violet). 50% is the normal level; above that it gets louder.

Only one slide-song mod can be active at a time. The mod adds its own sound files and only touches two small game files, the sound-event list (soundevents_manifest) and hud_screen_effects_low_health, so it keeps working through most game updates. Other mods that replace those two files will clash with it. Fan-made; not affiliated with Valve.
